Our client, a world-class prestigious automotive manufacturer, is recruiting a Financial Control Manager for the Business Office within Procurement. You will have a Finance background and experience of working with Procurement functions with regard to budgets,analysis and reporting, to ensure accurate information is shared which will contribute to the delivery of operational and strategic short, medium, and long-term objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure robust and transparent controls and measures are in place in connection with Procurement targets
- Preparing the annual Budget for Procurement purchases for the year ahead.
- Present Procurement budget performance and deliverables.
- Support suppliers where required.
- Ensure accurate financial information and insights are used in decision-making and performance is accurately measured
- Collaborate and liaise with Procurement and Finance teams
- Anticipate issues and recommend solutions to meet forecast commitments
- Analysing actual purchases and re-forecasting expected future pricing with comparisons to budget, explaining and communicating the key drivers of variances.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Similar role in Finance, preparation of Procurement budget, within an engineering manufacturing environment
- Microsoft Office & specifically Excel / PowerPoint skills are required.
- Knowledge in running KPI's and measuring performance.
- Educated to Degree level, preferably in line with the role requirements
- Demonstrable ability to prioritise tasks and have effective time management and analytical skills.
- Able to add structure to ambiguous and complex topics
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
