Our nationwide emotional wellbeing team currently have an opportunity for an Emotional Wellbeing Regional Lead.

**The Role**

The Emotional Wellbeing Regional Lead is responsible for driving quality of emotional wellbeing services at a regional level. You will ensure regional sites achieve clinical and delivery performance in line with identified SLAs and KPIs across all Emotional Wellbeing departments within Hospitals, Fitness & Wellbeing Centres, and Corporate Sites.

You will support the National Emotional Wellbeing Lead with external meetings and related initiatives and workstreams at local level. To support and drive improvements in clinical delivery across hospitals, consumer and corporate sites and act as a clinical and operational SME to place recommendations, take personal responsibility for challenging status quo and drive change to enhance delivery, governance and safety across sites.

Be an advocate of Emotional Wellbeing initiatives delivered at a regional and local site level and able to drive change initiatives with energy and navigating teams through continual improvement and development.

The Emotional Wellbeing Regional Lead will enable others to be their best by operating in an open and honest way to build trust and through developing and maintaining key relationships. Being proactive in establishing new connections will be an essential method of success for this role.

You will provide leadership, mentoring, training and clinical supervision, building a regional community of CBT therapists and counsellors, supporting professional development and encouraging best practice. As a senior member of the clinical team you will be a key point of contact for managing clinical queries, which includes participating in the ‘on call’ out of hours roster.

You will maintain a clinical practice providing remote interventions (via secure telephone or video link) and face to face therapy/assessment for referrals from a range of sources including corporate and insurance customers.

You will receive clinical supervision, senior team support and training as part of your role, as well as excellent support from a dedicated administration team. In addition we will provide training in order to deliver supervision and an annual contribution of £500 for continuous professional development.

**The Person**

To succeed as an Emotional Wellbeing Regional Lead you will have:

- Experience of leading people, leading as a role model
- Experience of clinically managing a service at a regional level
- Experience of providing CBT supervision and audit
- Knowledge and understanding of Nuffield Health SOPs and guidelines.
- A good understanding of clinical governance
- Able to identify and implement solutions to contain risks to patient safety, experience, or effectiveness of the clinical service
- Able to mentor colleagues towards optimal performance and clinical excellence, understanding organisational, operational, and financial drivers.
- Experience of developing services and delivering quality improvement initiatives
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and share best practice and inspire clinical and operational development
- Ability to prioritise and deal with varied workload in an effective and timely manner
- Able to confidently communicate in a flexible way according to a variety of audiences and able to modify communication style when needed
- Able to prioritise workload and demonstrate effective time management based on the needs to the business and demands of the role
- Experience of project management and the ability to lead workstreams and deliver objectives.
- Proficient in IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office packages, databases and electronic record systems.

Desirable
- Other recognisable therapy qualifications i.e. in EMDR, IPT, DBT etc. An awareness of mental health needs in the corporate settingAn awareness of working within a private medical insurance setting Experience of delivering presentations to large audiences of cross functional groups in an energetic and dynamic way
- Experience in investigating adverse events and implementing learns
- Basic understanding of financial information including budgets and P&L performance and understands how resource management controls cost base

**Qualifications**:

- Be fully accredited with the BABCP, with a post-graduate diploma in High Intensity Cognitive Behaviour Therapy(or equivalent)
- Formal leadership or management qualification
