**Key Responsibilities**

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will:

- Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs, fostering independence and well-being.
- Build trusting relationships with service users to promote a safe and supportive environment.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community activities to enhance service users' quality of life.
- Monitor and report on service users' progress, identifying changes or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with other professionals, family members, and caregivers to ensure cohesive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with organizational and regulatory standards.

**What We’re Looking For**

To excel in this role, you should have:

- **Experience**: Proven experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges, ideally in a similar role.
- **Qualifications**: Mandatory Training/PMVA Training Required.
- **Skills**: Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
- **Knowledge**: Understanding of mental health conditions, safeguarding, and person-centred care practices.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, or overnights as required.
- **Compliance**: A valid [DBS check or equivalent] and eligibility to work.
- **Driving**: Drivers with access to their own vehicle are **preferred** due to the nature of the role.
- **Important**: Please note, we do not offer visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already have the right to work. We also cannot register you if you have any work related restrictions.

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
