Retail Customer Service

**Would you like to finish work each day at 3pm and only work Monday to Friday?**

FEAST has never been so busy - we are experiencing record growth in sales.

We are looking for individuals, who will be the face of our business, to sell a range of hot and cold snacks and sandwiches to our regular and loyal customers - driving one of our heated and refrigerated sandwich vans.

Van driving experience is not essential - our vans are the size of a medium people carrier. The most important aspect of this role is **CUSTOMER SERVICE. **If you are a ‘people person’ who loves developing strong working relationships with your customers, then this could be the job for you.

**Typical daily tasks and responsibilities.**
- Load the Van - all stock is itemised on a daily delivery note
- Merchandise the van to a planogram layout
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
- Drive the route - which may mean you will be driving on either A/B roads and/or Motorways. You will be out in all types of weather. You will receive full training on learning the route.
- Serving Customers - Please consider that you will be driving the route and serving customers on your own.
- Use of credit card terminals
- Ensure that the vehicle has sufficient fuel to complete each days journey, using a company fuel card
- Return to depot
- Report any mechanical defects in line with company reporting procedures
- Unload stock and clean your van (exterior cleans using an industrial pressure washer and interior cleaning of oven, fridge, cab etc)
- Complete a small amount of paperwork and count your daily cash and card sales takings
- Home at 3pm

**What skills do you need to do this job?**
- Customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills.

As a trainee you will begin by shadowing your Sales Team Manager, learning how to drive the route, meeting your customers and seeing how we deliver an excellent standard of customer service. Once you are confident with the route and your customers you will then be able to manage the route on your own. This training period usually lasts 2-3 weeks.

Feast own and operate a fleet of 20 refrigerated and heated sandwich vans across the West Midlands. We serve approximately 20,000 repeat customers each week and employ 50 employees.

Due to continued expansion and internal promotion we are looking for a number of Customer Service Van Drivers who will be driving a small refrigerated and heated sandwich van on a fixed route basis.

Please note we are based between Droitwich and Kidderminster with no public transport routes so **own transport is essential to get to our depot.**
