**About Our Client**:
We have partnered with a large public-sector business based in Manchester to assist in the recruitment of an ER Advisor to join them on a temporary basis with potential permanent opportunities. As an ER Advisor, you will be required to provide risk-based advice to enable managers to make informed decisions and provide generalist support to the organisation on queries that require specific HR knowledge.

Key responsibilities include:

- Manage a caseload, providing support and guidance to local managers with regard to:

- Change management/restructuring exercises/ redeployment.
- Discipline.
- Grievance.
- Capability.
- Attendance management.
- Police performance regulations.
- Misconduct panels
- Gather, analyse and evaluate HR data to identify potential risks/issues, producing reports and making recommendations as appropriate.
- Encourages Line Managers in the use of self-service tools available to them.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- CIPD qualified.
- HR experience including practical case work e.g. employment relations, discipline, grievance and recruitment and selection etc.
- Practical experience of developing strong and effective customer relations including provision of advice.
