Our client was set up in 2014 in Guernsey by three investment professionals with decades of experience. Licensed by the GFSC, we launched our flagship fund Opus Global Freedom with a small amount of seed capital.
In 2019, we opened an office in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), with a license from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) to act as investment manager and administrator. We launched our first ADGM-domiciled fund with the support of a local sovereignfund - and in 2020, listed the first ADGM fund on The International Stock Exchange (TISE).
Today, we manage 17 funds across Guernsey and ADGM and Luxembourg, overseeing more than $1bn in assets.
The role:
You will be working under the guidance of the COO/Operations Manager. You will be able to work independently and interact directly with clients and the Board of Directors. You will pro-actively engage in these duties, and your key responsibilities will includeundertaking the following:

- Support the wider Operations Team in preparing and circulating documentation in relation to the board, investment and Abu Dhabi executive committees, ensuring the smooth running of such meetings.
- Supporting the production of quarterly and ad-hoc board meeting packs;
- Assisting in the monitoring and completion of regulatory and statutory filings across Guernsey and the UAE;
- Provide assistance in ensuring proper record keeping and organisation of various Firm SharePoint sites;
- Drafting of Board and Committee minutes and correspondence;
- Assisting with clients and various stakeholder onboarding and periodic reviews;
- Supporting fund administration activities;
- Assist bookkeeping and preparation of bank account reconciliations;
- Assist the production of monthly invoices;
Degree educated.
Interpersonal skills - ability to communicate and deal effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels;
IT literate: MS365 Office Suite of Applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; SharePoint
Ability to self-manage time and well organised;
Ability to work to tight deadlines;
Attention to detail.
