**The Team**

The **Stores Marketing** responsible for the Local and Regional marketing activity across the estate of 950+ stores in the UK. Through our unique Joint Venture Partnership, all our stores are locally owned and run, and it is our Stores Marketing team that ensure that every store is given the marketing support and materials they need to promote their products and services to their local market, both inside and outside the store.

The Stores Marketing Team are essentially the “face of marketing” liaising with a large number of stakeholders across the business, requiring our team to have a natural ability to communicate and collaborate on a daily basis. From teams in the Marketing Department, we also work closely with the Retail team, several other teams such as Store Design, Merchandising, our in-house design agency and external media agencies, to service the needs of the stores and our wonderful partners who are serving customers to deliver sight and hearing care for all.

A hybrid of around 15 colleagues, split between a: UK Field Team; Guernsey Strategy team and the Activation teams. The Activation team are not only responsible for supporting new assets for “hyper local” activity a store may wish to activate, as well as the overall activation for 6 marketing plans to support the Stores with their marketing activity across the UK.

The activation side of the team includes a Senior Manager, Marketing Manager and Marketing Executive. We are responsible for the creation of the assets, implementation, reporting and communication to stores.

**The Role**

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Executive to support with all aspect of the activation across the team. The role requires an understanding of marketing channels, briefing and would suit someone who is extremely organised and adaptable. We provide activation support for the entire team which means we are operating across the following plans: Segments, Scotland, London, Sainsbury’s, Tiger and Revival as well as hyper local support for the stores so an ability to prioritise and project manage multiple workstreams is essential.

**The Experience**
- Working on creative briefs, liaising with a design agency and media agencies to brief artwork ensure quality and deadlines are met.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with colleagues to ensure we deliver as needed
- Excellent organisational skills, project management experience would be a bonus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- An interest or education in Marketing
- Strong team player and able to work with remote teams
- Organised and a self-starter who can juggle multiple tasks, and prioritise
- An ability to confidently build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- A flexible/can do approach to work and is highly resilient and results focused
- Computer literate (including Office 365 packages), financially astute and analytically minded
- Willingness to do occasional travel to the UK

**What we will support you with**
- Specsavers provides a range of marketing at local, regional and national level and get an understanding of how we **support** **stores** in a range of scenarios.
- to **communicate** with stakeholders across the business via a range of systems, communication tools, meetings and store visits.
- to write **creative briefs** to generate artwork in a timely manner
- to use different systems to implement **media** bookings
- the different **channel mix **works, and how to **plan** marketing activity for stores using various systems, agencies and processes
- to support with **reporting**, understanding analysis and insights that help us shape decisions, supporting with creating and distributing performance reports to the team and stores and draw conclusions from the data.
- to process **purchase order** requests for bookings and processing of invoices and support with inputting and reconciling budgets with the relevant finance teams
- to be the primary point of **contact** for store partners, managers, agencies and other departments answering general marketing queries
- to support with the **proofing** and sign off process of artwork.

We offer a competitive salary and an excellent bonus plan - you will be entitled to two bonuses - one based on your own personal performance which is paid quarterly and a company bonus that is based on the performance of the business.
