Are you a Graduate Civil Engineer looking to kickstart your career with an established engineering consultancy? Are you unsure about the area of the industry you're most interested in?
Well, here's an opportunity for you to experience different areas of the industry through 6-month rotations. You'll get to work in civil infrastructure, environmental engineering, and the transport team. Rotating isn't compulsory, so if you prefer a certainarea, you can stick to it
You'll be joining a close-knit engineering consultancy of around 30 people and receive the support and guidance needed at this stage of your career. As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you'll work on various construction projects in the built environment. You'llget involved with the infrastructure design of development projects, environmental impact assessments, and transport infrastructure.
You'll work with engineering design and analysis software to produce designs and reports for various projects. Some examples of their work include large complex redevelopments of brownfield sites and modern Net Zero new builds.
You'll be joining an established team with plenty of Chartered Engineers to support your progression. As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you'll collaborate with experienced teammates to develop your knowledge of engineering in the built environment.
If you're hoping to become a Chartered Engineer, you'll receive plenty of support on the way - the company has accredited graduate training schemes to help you become a chartered member of your chosen institute (ICE, CIWEM, etc.)
What's needed for this Graduate Civil Engineer position?
- Ideally, you will be qualified with MEng/BEng in Civil Engineering or similar
- Live locally to Newbury
- Enjoy working with engineering design and analysis software
- Have the right to live and work in the UK
