Graduate Electrical Engineer

Role Overview My client works within engineering and manufacturing and they are looking to take on a Graduate Controls Engineer to develop as part of their team, on a permanent basis, in the Berkshire area. Salary £26,000-£33,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Responsibilities Working within the existing engineering technical team Being involved in automation projects Working with other Mechanical and Electrical Engineers Working on PLC’s, panels, wiring Producing the required technical documentation Interfacing with customers when required Some travel to customer sites will be involved Qualifications Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Knowledge or experience of working with PLC systems – Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar Any CAD skills would be beneficial Knowledge of Ethernet, Profibus or similar would be ideal but not essential Excellent hands‑on capabilities with panel building and wiring Ability to work well individually as well as part of a team Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function & Industries Manufacturing and Engineering.
