About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Digital UX Designer to join our eCommerce team and help shape the future of Arco’s online experience.

The role is fantastic opportunity to bring your well-honed skills in researching and producing user stories, prototypes, and production quality visuals that will drive our online sales and customer engagement.

Working with various teams across the business you will play a key role in identifying, specifying, and launching brand new initiatives and changes on our website and customer portal. This is a hybrid, full time position with a mix of 2 or 3 days a week office and home working.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting the identification and prioritisation of a roadmap of online capabilities that drive online sales and customer engagement to increase Arco’s market share
- Producing detailed online experience requirements including specifications (stories), business rules, wireframes, and visual designs
- Working with peers and the IT/Digital Software engineering teams to bring new online capabilities to life
- Ensuring new functionality/online capability is properly launched to the market/customers through close collaboration
- Contributing to the development of deep and robust business cases in support of future capabilities

About you

The ideal Digital UX Designer will be/have:

- Experienced in optimising websites and digital products in the eCommerce space, using Adobe CC and primary prototyping tools such as Axure, UX Pin, Miro or similar
- Able to demonstrate a pixel perfect focus on design with a highly analytical ability to articulate user journeys, data requirements and dependencies through high quality user stories and acceptance criteria to support our agile development process
- Drive and persistence to innovate within our complex scaled up eCommerce environment and able to rapidly learn the wide range of features and dependencies that make up our online offering
- Able to demonstrate creative authority and command of details, you will be comfortable promoting the business benefits of your ideas to senior stakeholders
- A great team player able to demonstrate experience of working with others in diverse environments solving tough business problems with smart UX solutions
