The role of Client Services Director is pivotal in helping the business to deliver exceptional service to its clients by leading a high performing Client Services team, ensuring that our accounts continue to grow and remain profitable.
Overview
- Ensure that the Client Services team adhere to all aspects of client management including:
- Accountable for commercial management across all clients
- Ability to build and develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and have natural rapport building skills internally and with suppliers and clients at all levels.
- Sound commercial and financial awareness, in terms of P&L management, budget control and client profitability.
- Be a senior point of contact for clients and internally as required and always lead the team by example
- Support the management team in resource planning; through the ongoing monitoring of your team’s utilisation figures, GP per head, and reviewing resource vs. planned revenues etc.
- Support the Client Services team in achieving key
- Lead and support the Client Services team with client and supplier contract renewal
- Take a lead role in quarterly account planning across all client accounts
- Support the team in identifying new client contacts and business opportunities
- Write clear, engaging presentations and be able to present with credibility and gravitas Work with the designated Solution Lead and wider Solution delivery team to ensure you understand all the key components of the clients’ solutions and services provided
- Support the teams as required to establish and agree on what the priorities and key deliverables are for clients
- Lead, motivate and inspire the Client Services team, in their roles managing clients, client requirements and their own contribution and development.
- Line management responsibility for the more senior members of the team, managing their workload, performance, and development opportunities.
You need to have..
- Proven track record in the management and development of a Client Services team within a marketing/ CRM/ data & insight/ mar-tech environment.
- At least two years’ experience in a CSD or equivalent level role with responsibility for delivering against set targets and KPIs and with accountability for the team’s P&L.
- Sound experience of working with high profile clients (ideally both B2B and B2C across several industry sectors) at a senior level.
- Considerable and recent experience of leading or managing large scale multi-channel marketing campaign/ technology/ data management/ BI projects within the Data Marketing Industry.
- Experience in working collaboratively with other client-roster agencies and third-party suppliers.
- Demonstrable communication, influencing and relationship management skills.
- Energetic, resourceful, and capable of multi-tasking and prioritising when under pressure.
- Ability to delegate effectively but also willing to take a hands-on approach when needed.
