My client, a dynamic and progressive award winning company based in Loughton, is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This is a new role due to company growth and is a fantastic opportunity for someone whois looking for a career within a progressive business. Some previous experience within logistics or a similar role would be beneficial.
Responsibilities include:
- Working alongside the Commercial Manager, raising contracts, purchase and sales orders, sending to customers and suppliers and inputting onto Sage.
- Collating quality reports, delivery in documents and contract terms to draft valuation reports for all purchases.
- Assisting in the implementation of the stock system, overseeing the transition from manual contract, invoice and stock systems into an integrated system.
- Providing cover to the Logistics department in both exports and imports, including assisting with schedules, raising transport documentation and raising invoices.
- Maintaining list of Harmonized Tariff Codes, ensuring correct rates of duty are applied to imports or exports.
- Checking logistics documentation and signing off on documentation raised by the logistics department.
- Working closely with the shipping department in regards to all incoming and outgoing loads.
- Assisting in the production of weekly working capital reports and schedules alongside the Operations Director and Financial Controller.
- Creating compliance policies, setting KPI's to monitor.
- Administrating and monitoring ISO 9001 quality manual.
