Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees the process for Spark of Genius homes petty cash and home bank account reconciliations
This involves:
Sending all Home Bank Account bank statements at least twice monthly to relevant people
Checking petty cash reconciliation and bank reconciliation for each of our 17 homes
Checking receipts against expenditure
Carrying out bank reconciliations for 7 Regional Head Office bank accounts and ensuring that there are receipts for expenditure
Providing summary reconciliations and analyses of expenditure to BUFC for posting to nominal
Working with the homes to ensure they understand our cash recording and reconciliation process, and providing training as required
Working with the homes to ensure that differences are investigated and that all receipts are provided
Providing feedback to BUFC and senior operational staff on any cash issues within a home
Support for the homes is an important part of this role
Providing information to auditors as and when required
Dealing with other Spark finance tasks as and when required
