Leading Local Manufacturing Company seeks an experienced Operations Controller.

**Hours of work**: Mon-Thur 08:00-16:30 & Fri 08:00-13:30

**Holidays**: 30 days inc Bank Holidays

**Duties may include**:

- To lead the production and warehouse teams ensuring efficient and effective operation of the associated areas in a safe manner and compliant with cGMP.
- The organization and coordination of the Supervisors, Team Leaders, and operators to ensure that production and warehouse targets are met, and the schedule is delivered.
- Work with the planners to establish monthly and weekly production schedules.
- Through the Warehouse team manage the receipt of material and dispatch of finished goods.
- Complete actions in support of the performance and absence management policies, including chairing investigation, sickness absence and disciplinary meetings as appropriate.
- Liaise with quality operations to ensure documentation is available and completed appropriately.
- Through the engineering supervisor ensure equipment is changed over and maintained as required and any performance issues are investigated.
- Identify and participate in opportunities for continuous improvement to improve operational efficiency and performance.
- Liaise with Project Engineering and Commercial managers to assess quotes for new business outlining line performance and staffing requirements for the introduction of new products and processes.
- To review and prepare information in support of investigations and close out deviation reports.
- Act as host for visits and client and regulatory audits of Production or Warehouse areas.
- Support Operations Director in establishing budgets for the areas under direct management.
- Coordinate the training of all Operations staff through the training administrator and Team Leaders.

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wirral: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Production scheduling: 1 year (preferred)
- GMP Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
- Warehousing: 1 year (preferred)
