SFL Mobile Radio Holdings have been established for 25 years. The group covers 5 companies and 50+ employees, holding ISO9001, ISO14001 AND ISO45001. We are ambitious, have seen exponential growth over the last 5 years, and have an aggressive growth plan for the next 10 years. We work across all verticals, but have particularly strong relationships within construction, MOD, Hospitality, Utilities and manufacturing. We are looking for a Logistics Operative, to join the team.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Unloading inbound/outbound materials safely.
- Ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are accurate & free of damage and despatched on time to meet both Production and Customer requirements.
- Ensuring the product on delivery is free from obvious damage and the quantities on delivery match the delivery note.
- Ensuring the part is stocked in the location it has been receipted against.
- Preparing, checking the parts pre despatch and generating delivery notes and delivery labels.
- Order picking by pulling & preparing product for shipment.
- Using company van to deliver parts/orders direct to clients.
- Lifting, moving, loading, unloading wrapping and storing product and materials.
- Keeping appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and Delivery despatches are met.
- Performing daily physical inventory and year end stock takes, ensuring proper stock rotation and counts.

**Key competencies required**:

- Previous experience of using MRP/ERP Computer systems.
- Previous experience working in a “parts” driven environment.
- Previous experience of working within a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to communicate in a professional but friendly manner.
- Good attention to detail with a commitment to ensuring quality & quantity of output.
- A will do attitude.
