**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our team who can bring a warm and friendly service at our award winning pub on Dartmoor. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your passion for hospitality and culinary excellence will contribute to an enjoyable dining experience for all customers.

It is important to us as a company that service to customers are provided at a high level to match the quality of food provided. During a day to day typical day you will be expected to work with the team to:
**Duties**
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements.
- Provide menu information and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are noted.
- Be able to work on the bar as well as restaurant floor.
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and waiting areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality service.
- Helping to maintain and organise the cellar.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A team player who is willing to help colleagues in various roles within the kitchen or front of house as required.
- A genuine passion for culinary arts and guest services will set you apart.
