**Rate**: Up to £75,000 (DOE)

**Hours**:Permanent, Full time (35 hrs per week)

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain internal monitoring programme
- Provide technical advice to Members on compliance queries and questions
- Maintain and deliver compliance support to members both proactively and reactively
- Help support the maintenance of a set of operational compliance tools known as the ‘model office’
- Contribute to regular compliance communications on behalf of the Association and the company’s Compliance website
- Support the monitoring of the ‘Minimum Standards’ across the membership
- Support the growth and sustainability of the Membership and Patronage through the promotion of professional standards
- Contribute to a culture of training and development through educational initiatives and through support of the e-learning training and education tool
- Actively contribute to the compliance team by supporting colleagues and be an SME on compliance technical matters
- Support the company's requirements for the delivery of the compliance operation and for its future development
- Continually review and evaluate present and future regulatory challenges and their impact on the membership and the Association
- Input to the controls, and monitor the adherence to the Association’s minimum standards by the Membership
- Be able to determine appropriate remedial actions and ensure their implementation in order to maintain and raise compliance and professional standards

**Requirements**:

- Experience in FCA regulation and its implementation within business operations
- Evaluating regulatory requirements
- Compliance audit and review
- Document and process design skills
- Supporting a business through the compliance function
- An understanding of UK lending
- An understanding of the intermediary/broker market and distribution channels
- Presentation and communication skills
- Training and coaching skills
- Knowledge of UK Financial Services Regulation
- Strong Consulting skills and ability to analyse
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
**Whilst not essential, it is desirable to have experience in some of the following**:

- Implementation of regulatory requirements
- Training design, delivery and evaluation
- Information Technology (to include competence tracking)
- PR and Social Media
- Business operations
- Building and developing confidence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary

**Salary**: £75,000.00 per year
