**About the Role**

We are currently recruiting for
**Housekeeping Room Attendants** to join us at the Alton Towers Resort, the UK's only attraction that specialises in making Britain happy

When it comes to providing a clean and comfortable environment for our guests, our Linen & Housekeeping Attendants make sure we're exceeding expectations. You could be working in one of our five amazing Hotels including the World's first CBeebies Land Hotel. Working as part of one of the largest departments at the resort, our room attendants are responsible to for the cleaning of all public areas of the hotels, cleaning hotel guest bedrooms to a high standard and the restocking and delivering of linen, all whilst delivering exceptional service to our guests. The housekeeping department also has fantastic opportunities for progression, including promotion to checker and assistant manager for applicants who are looking to further their career in the hospitality and housekeeping industry.

Main Responsibilities:

- Ensure that duties are carried out in a quiet and efficient manner at all times.
- Handle any guest needs upon request.
- Ensure lost property is labelled, bagged and handed in to a Team Leader for safe keeping on a daily basis.
- Knock twice on each room before entering, with a pause between knocks. Respect “Do Not Disturb” signs.
- Ensure that the only linen used is clean and in good repair.
- Collect/hand in pass key and work sheet daily.
- Inform department is unable to report for duty as soon as possible to enable cover to be arranged.
- Report all maintenance faults to Team Leader when found.
- To ensure all rooms are equipped with guest disposables, as detailed in the Standard Operating Procedures manual.

The role can either be full-time or part time and will include weekends and bank holidays as required. The room attendant shift time is 08:50-15:20, however this can be tailored slightly to suit school hours if required, making this perfect for parents who need hours to fit around the school run. Contracts will run initially until 13/11/22, with the potential to be made permanent at the end of this period based on performance and attendance.
