**Role Purpose**

To ensure the effective and efficient management of warehouse operations. This includes, but is not limited to, the receipt, storage, retrieval, packing and dispatch of all items within the warehouse, as well as ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times. Warehouse Operatives are also responsible for maintaining accurate records of all warehouse activities and ensuring that stock levels are monitored and maintained in accordance with company policies.

**About the Role**

Responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods in and out of the warehouse and maintaining a safe, clean and organized work environment. This involves operating machinery, preparing goods for shipment, receiving incoming goods, loading and unloading vehicles, stock control and the general upkeep of the warehouse.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment

**Duties**

Receiving goods and checking for damage or discrepancies

Preparing goods for dispatch

Loading and unloading goods from vehicles

Picking and packing orders

Operating machinery and equipment

Maintaining accurate records of stock levels and movements

Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed

Assisting with ad hoc duties as and when required
