**Senior Production Planner**

**The role**:
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager the role of the **Senior Production Planner** / Scheduler is to create all project scheduling to prevent operational disruption through accurate planning and prioritisation. This role would suit someoneambitious as the company is on an incredible journey of growth and would suit someone who has a keen eye for improvements and a good grasp of exceeding KPIs and reaching targets.

**Main responsibilities of the Senior Production Planner**
- Create all project scheduling and design agreements
- Plan production qualities to optimise manufacturing efficiencies and stock holding
- Ensure all information in a project plan is accurate and updated as needed
- Craft an efficient schedule for the execution of any projects
- Assess employee hours spent on projects and create reports on efficiency
- Work with staff from different departments to collaborate and maintain coordination
- Ensure accurate details/drawings are provided to production
- Ensure works orders for completed jobs are returned with accurate information from production
- Liaise with sales, design, and logistics departments to ensure customer requirements are achieved
- Create reports and statistical analysis
- Push continuous improvement methods whenever possible
- Produce regular KPIs reports
- Work with procurement team to ensure accurate demand for any materials that are due in
- Capture forecasts, customer demands and other important factors to produce a schedule that maintains planning standards and can be adhered to

**Experience required for Senior Production Planner**:

- Previously held a similar role as a scheduler or planner and looking for a step up into a senior role
- Manufacturing process knowledge
- Highly logical and analytical
- Independent thinker who can solve problems
- Highly organised with excellent negotiation skills
- Proficiency in ERP / MRP systems such as Oracle
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
