Onboarding Officer

Main purpose of the role - Responsible for overseeing the onboarding process from the notification of a tenancy terminating through to 4-6 weeks after the new tenancy has started and all maintenance and tenancy issues are resolved. This is a hybrid role that will involve visiting both our Essex and London office.
**Duties will include-**
- Provide help, support and encouragement to applicants to assist them to make informed, pragmatic decisions about their housing options
- Arrange and carry out property viewings
- Complete sign up process with new tenants
- Maintain effective relationships with local authorities, monitoring and enforcing nomination agreements and partnerships to ensure maximum gain for Swan’s residents
- Ensure all properties meet Swan’s lettable standard and are relet in a good condition
- Ensure all legalisation regarding the start and ending of tenancies is met
- Able to regularly travel to and visit both our Essex and London office

Skills Required-*
- Full UK driving license and access to vehicle is essential
- Knowledge of property maintenance and housing legislation
- IT literate, confident using Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Clear and comprehensive communication style
- Prioritise work whilst maintaining high standard
- Knowledge/experience of welfare reform and benefits system would be an advantage

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£28,250.00 per year
