A national Medical company are looking for an Information Governance Manager to join their team in the Manchester office (although almost completely remote). Reporting directly to the DPO you will work with internal teams as well as external stakeholdersto provide accurate information governance advice.
With a focus on Data Protection, you'll be deploying different policies and managing compliance across the business.
**The Information Governance Manager will be responsible for**:
- Subject matter expert for all matters relating to governance
- Lead on all Data Protection and compliance
- Review internal customers governance issues and provide guidance
- Work with the Information Security team and ensure compliance with ISO27001
- Support the DPO
**The key skills and experience required**:
- Extensive experience in a health care, legal or regulatory environment
- Experience in drafting and creating instructions for counsel
- Have team lead/managerial experience
This is the ideal position for someone coming from a Information Governance background, with managerial experience to take that step up. Previous Information Governance experience is also highly sort after with someone aspiring to be part of the DPO team.
