The Commercial Division at SF Recruitment are currently working with a well-established UK based company to recruit for a Supply Chain Assistant on a full time, permanent basis. This position will be working on a hybrid basis with 3 days in the office, and 2 days working remotely (should you wish to).

As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will be responsible for managing an effective stock cycle across all UK sites, which will include weekly and monthly stock takes. It is your role to ensure that you build strong business relationships across all UK sites and understand the unique requirements of each site.

Additional responsibilities will include:

- Ensure that in demand products are available and carry out additional searches into slow moving stock.
- Carry out regular routine stock takes across multiple sites.
- Raising and processing purchase orders.
- Handling stock pricing enquiries.
- Working closely with the site managers to outline any supply chain improvement areas and creating clear plans to resolve issues and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Ensuring all stock related documentation is recorded accurately on the internal shared system.
- Carrying out regular reporting on store performance, bestselling stock and slow-moving products.

The successful Supply Chain Assistant will ideally have experience in a similar Supply Chain or Inventory role. You will need to be confident influencing and building business relationships at all levels, and working on your own initiative. Our client is looking for somebody that has a passion for supply chain/inventory and wanting to build a successful and progressive career within this industry/sector.

This role will include some UK travel and occasional overnight UK stays, in which a pool car will be provided, and any additional costs will be expensed.
