- Permanent, full time hours 37.5hrs

**Salary -** Competitive (dependent on skills & experience). This post is equivalent to an NHS band 6 position.

**About the Post**

The successful post holder will work as a member of the radiosurgery and radiotherapy teams responsible for maintaining and developing the both services. You will work on CyberKnife, Gamma Knife and linacs as required.

**This a full time role working 37.5hrs per week on a permanent contract.** **This post is equivalent to an NHS band 6 position.**

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Be responsible for the accurate planning or administration of radiosurgery and radiotherapy treatments ensuring accurate documentation of treatments in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- In conjunction with senior radiographic staff, agree, implement and monitor systems of work, quality assurance procedures and protocols.
- Maintain effective liaison with all appropriate staff to ensure the provision of a high quality service and a smooth and efficient work flow across the radiation oncology services.
- Operate radiosurgery and radiotherapy equipment in accordance with operational procedures ensuring routine quality assurance procedures are carried out.
- Ensure all equipment faults and malfunctions are recorded and reported to the Radiotherapy Service Manager and Physicist.
- Ensure accurate statistical information is collated in accordance with department policy. Take part in audits as required.

**Skills & Experience**
- BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent
- HCPC registration
- Post graduation clinical experience
- Radiotherapy experience
