**What you would do as our Specification Marketing Executive**

The Specification Marketing Executive is responsible for executing and managing successful communications, marketing activities and support that deliver against the marketing strategy and channels business priorities.

The specification channel looks after the ASSA ABLOY brand and products. These products are sold through architectural ironmongers, locksmiths and specified on large-scale projects such as schools, hotels, and stadiums. It is a fast-paced channel where we need to generate high value opportunities from major and new accounts through more bespoke marketing activities and through influencing decision makers as well as end users (indirect).

Reporting into the Specification Marketing Lead, you would:

- Understand, contribute and implement the specification channel marketing plan.
- Equip the sales team and our customers with the tools they need to educate and drive demand of our products and brands.
- Take product propositions, working hand in hand with product managers to launch new products to market.
- Co-ordinate the production and messaging of marketing activities which include but are not limited to; promotional and technical literature, customer communications, point of sale, packaging designs, video content, case studies, PR, events, digital content and sales promotions.
- Set targets for marketing activities, measures success, present insights in a meaningful way and recommend / implement ways of achieving continuous improvement.
- Create clear, simple and compelling briefs for agencies and photographers.
- Be the brand guardians and ambassadors, ensuring consistency across all narratives and tone of voice through to all visual touchpoints.
- Devise and run an engaging social media schedule to drive key messages for your channel through your social media platforms.

**The skills and experience you need**

We are looking for someone who has:

- Previous experience working in a fast-moving marketing role.
- Proven ability to lead and take products from proposition to launched in the market.
- Proven ability to lead and successfully run to completion marketing projects with many stakeholders involved.
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects, under pressure and to deadlines, with excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Experience of influencing multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Industry experience (not essential but would be advantageous.)
- Graphic design skills (use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar would be advantageous.)
