**Job Description Summary**: As a Connectivity Trainee, you’ll be responsible for facilitating remote access to our medical devices, allowing systems to be fully supported by the online engineers for monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairs on our life-changing medical equipment.
In this role, you will be communicating with customers, Field Engineers and GE VPN teams, resolving any issues on connectivity, and providing the kind of exceptional service that will ensure we achieve optimal customer satisfaction. It’s a vital role and your involvement will be invaluable when it comes to making sure patients have access to the best possible care.
**Fixed-Term Contract: 18-24 Months**
**Willing to start as soon as possible**
**Responsibilities**:
- Collate Network and Dicom details from Customer sites and facilitate addition to VPN before the installation is complete. To drive 90% connectivity at Install
- Liaise with GE VPN Team and FE on connectivity status issues to achieve positive resolutions with timely follow-ups
- Update Internal Connectivity Databases
- Carry out basic network troubleshooting
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, IT and Networking
- Knowledge with Networking is ultimate plus
- Systematic and thorough approach to problem solving, with good communication skills, both written and verbal
**Desirable Skills**:
- The ability to work unsupervised and act on own initiative.
- CCNA Modules completed or sound knowledge of Networks
**Eligibility Requirements**:
- A good level of English and a valid Work Permit
