This role is office based where you will play a pivotal role in transport. Your enthusiasm and willing to learn will make you an important addition to the team and support for the Senior Operations team.

**Your key responsibilities (including but not limited to)**:

- Booking UK deliveries direct with Customer.
- Booking transport with 3rdparty Logistics ( via Portals where required ).
- Updating job details in SAP and also Customer Service Smartsheets.
- Provide Quotes / Costing jobs / running weekly and monthly invoicing including reports.
- POD checks and chasing.
- Customer bookings via Portals including Amazon shipping label creation.
- Manage delivery issue and query escalation.
- Liaise effectively with all CPG departments to meet shipping dates.
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods useful.
- Management of workload around booking cut offs and carrier collection times in a flexible way to be able to accommodate urgent requests.

**Your core skills**:

- General understanding of import/export processes.
- Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely to individuals, adapting communication style, amount and format based upon the level of seniority and/or understanding of the audience.
- Good organisational skills and able to manage a range of varying tasks across a wide client base with excellent attention to detail.
- To be a team player who is flexible with the ability for maintaining focus on achieving the required objectives and to show resilience and take personal accountability.
- Good level of IT literacy, Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook), SAP knowledge an advantage. Ability to learn different IT packages as required including bespoke inhouse systems.
