Warehouse Operative

We are recruiting for a new Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic company. You will play a vital role in ensuring all warehouse stock is controlled, allocated, loaded and delivered in good condition to meet with customer expectation and Trimline Quality Standards.

**Role Profile**:
Ensure all Warehouse Stock is Controlled, allocated, loaded and delivered in good condition to meet with customer expectation and Trimline Quality Standards and deadlines. To maintain the company’s tools and equipment to a safe and functional standard.

Collaborate across different functions to ensure consumables, products and materials are accounted for and all documentation is up to date, accurate and processed according to defined processes.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Manage goods in, ensuring the in-house system and paperwork are kept updated to reflect daily stock movements using an iPad
- Communicate with team of any stock shortages that are required for projects and resolve issue
- Allocate all Goods in to either projects or stock. Ensuring the correct stock is allocated to the correct project. Paying attention to detail is important
- Pack and list goods being shipped to project
- Weekly stock cycle count’s and update system, be involved in yearly stock audit
- Book in goods returned back from projects
- PAT Test tools and keep a record of dates on the system
- Participate in the safe loading and unloading of transport vehicles using pump truck and Forklift
- Using commercial vehicles, undertake local delivery and pickups from Suppliers and going to site projects
- Complete any other ad-hoc tasks as directed by your line manager or designee.
- Control materials to help ensure efficiency and best practice
- Any other reasonable and agreed tasks as directed by your line manager.

**Required knowledge, skills and abilities**:

- Experience and proven ability to perform goods inwards and warehousing actions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and customers.
- Excellent attention to detail on multiple priorities.
- Good understanding of quality and goods control.
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety legislation.
- Full driving licence - essential
- Forklift licence - desirable
- Knowledge of electrical PAT testing - desirable

**Minimum required education and experience**:

- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in warehouse environment or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Forklift truck trained desirable.

This permanent, full time position will offer the successful Warehouse Operative a competitive basic salary of around £20,000 to £23,000 (dependent on experience) and a great range of benefits including free parking, health scheme, pension and company profit share scheme.
