**About the role
- Complex Needs Assistant**

I am currently looking for experienced SEN specialists to work in this amazing special school based in Swiss Cottage. You will be working with secondary aged students with special educational needs including Autism, Down Syndrome, Speech and Language needsand some disabilities. Many students require personal care so comfortability with this is essential for all applicants. You will be working in classes of approximately 12 students, supported by a class teacher and at least 2 other support assistants. You willbe required to assist with classwork, encouraging lesson engagement and challenging behaviour management so good behaviour management skills are highly desirable for successful applicants.

**About the School**

This is a large Special School in Swiss Cottage. They cater to students with an EHCP statement of SEN and are one of the most comprehensive schools in the country. They cater to students aged 3-18 and have classes from Nursery to Post 16. The school is lessthan a 5 minute walk from Swiss Cottage station and is accessible by London underground routes and bus routes. The school is a busy and vibrant environment with thousands of students and staff. They are incredibly inclusive, with student artwork lining thewalls and inclusive messaging throughout the school.
