The environmental jobs sector is rapidly expanding and so are we. Our Remote Sensing team provides expert advice and project delivery for a range of aerial survey-based services. This includes projects involving ultra-high-resolution aerial imagery, LiDAR and thermal data.

**About the role**

In this role you will be providing remote sensing consultancy services to clients, dealing with all aspects of the consultancy process which include:

- Business development work and forging relationships with key clients.
- Tender production and review of tendered work.
- Report production and review of more junior staff reports.
- Financial management of projects.
- Project management.
- Line management of a small team.
- Helping to drive forwards APEM’s remote sensing products and services.

**About you**

Essential
- Understanding the Remote Sensing/Geospatial industry and being able to provide expert service and knowledge.
- Excellent management skills and proven track record of managing projects on time and in budget.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak with a wide audience including clients, industry professionals, peers and colleagues.
- Knowledge and experience of Remote Sensing workflows (e.g. image classification, LiDAR, Photogrammetry).
- Effective line management experience.

Desirable
- Expertise in the detailed data processing/interpretation in on one or more of the following areas:

- Photogrammetry.
- Lidar.
- 3D dataset production.
- Land cover classification.
- Catchment investigations using aerial imagery.
- Ecological/habitat mapping using aerial imagery.
- GIS processes.
