**Role Outline**
CSG are a successful IT Business based in Bridgend with over 30 years’ experience in the industry being one of the most established IT companies in Wales. Working in various industry sectors, and their continuous success CSG are now searching to recruit additional people within the Service Department.

CSG have teamed with risual education to recruit an Apprentice to join their expanding Customer Service Support team, your journey within the company will also include a Level 3 IT -Software-Web-and Telecoms Professional Qualification. A great opportunity for anyone that has a customer service background with the desire to develop their skills within an IT environment and the opportunity to enhance your career as your skills grow.

We are looking for individuals who have some work experience within a customer service environment who can work in a busy and challenging environment. You will be supported by a great team within the department, and you will also have inhouse training on various IT systems.

**Duties will include**:

- Answering incoming calls in a timely manner
- Prioritising/escalating calls to the engineer
- Logging and Producing tickets for support
- Updating computer systems
- General office duties

**Requirements & Prospects**

**Essential Skills**:

- Customer service skills and an excellent telephone manner
- Good attention to detail
- Good troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A good understanding of software packages, including Microsoft Office, Office 365
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems

**Desired Skills and Qualifications**
- A grade C/4 or equivalent is needed in Maths and English
- Customer Service Qualification
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ideally, you’ll have some previous work experience in any form
- A genuine interest within IT
- Ambition and drive to succeed
