Factory Operative with Flt Counterbalance Licence

Labour 24/7 are an employment business acting on behalf of our Swinton based client who due to increased workload have a great opportunity for an experienced Factory Operative with FLT Counterbalance Licence to join their housekeeping team.

**Duties will include**:
Ensure that all bins and walkways spaces are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.

Work with other departments to ensure that their waste skips are emptied into the correct waste stream.

Report to management any non-conformance of contamination of waste into the main skips.

Completion of housekeeping procedures and standards across the site to ensure a clean, safe, environment for staff.

Ability to manage own time and work to deadlines, whilst demonstrating a can-do attitude.

Perform other related duties as assigned by Line Manager.

Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations and standards.

**Qualifications**

FLT Counterbalance licence

Previous experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing site loading and unloading vehicles.

Competent at carrying general handy person tasks across site when required.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexible hours and weekends when required.

Hours of work are Monday-Thursday 7am-4.15pm Friday 7am-12pm

Overtime available and can include weekend work. Working hours can be up to 60 hours per week.

Standard Rate £12.50 per hour. Overtime paid at £18.75 per hour when you have completed core 40 hours per week.

This position will lead to permanent when you have completed satisfactory probationary period.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £12.50-£18.75 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 60 per week
