**Search Consultancy are looking for experienced FLT Counter Balance Drivers for our client based near Manchester Airport**
Are you an experienced and reliable forklift operator looking for work in the Manchester area ? We're helping a client recruit for a Counterbalance Driver to unload, move and stack packages in their facilities. The pay rate is £11.66 per hour, plus overtime.
You will need to be a counterbalance forklift driver who takes the utmost care ensuring efficiency and safety. The job will involve loading and unloading in warehouses and storage space settings.
Primary responsibilities of this FLT driver role include:
- Loading and unloading, scanning and sorting
- Operating a forklift in narrow spaces
- Ensuring the accurate and safe operation of machinery
- Identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Keeping updated records of inventory and activity logs
You must be a responsible counterbalance and reach driver with plenty of previous experience in driving industrial vehicles in an industrial setting. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximumefficiency.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- Excellent physical condition and coordination
- Valid certification to operate forklifts
- A can-do and team-spirited attitude
