**THE ROLE**:
You will be helping this thriving company to scale their business and support the customer acquisition and retention strategy as they transform the fibre industry in the south west. This is a role that would suit someone looking for autonomy, accountabilityand innovation.
As an experienced Head of Product Proposition you will be responsible for setting budgets, targets and delivery timelines in order to manage the launch of new products and services. You will analyse and report on campaign effectiveness ensuring we continuallydeliver strong ROI.
This role involves a mixture of leadership and hands-on work. You will be responsible for helping to formulate innovative pricing, maximising the capability of the product teams, and building a successful growth strategy.
This is an exceptional opportunity to make a strategic impact and play a key leadership role in the area of customer acquisition and retention. You will need a keen commercial eye and a delivery-focused mindset to get things done. This will sometimes bechallenging, so both an inquisitive problem-solving attitude and the ability to dig deep into detail will be key. We'll also be looking for you to challenge us along the way, so you will need to have strong negotiating and stakeholder management skills.
As a strong leader you will lead, coach and mentor your team and be a role model to your team and the rest of the organisation.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing your Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- You will be developing and delivering marketing strategies and campaigns that drive customer growth, value & retention
- You will build a product marketing capability encompassing B2C and B2B broadband and incremental services such as Wi-Fi and fixed voice, and lead the internal debate around the company's product propositions
- Lead the design and development of client value propositions in both B2B & B2C
- Establish relationships and understanding of user and customer needs to discover desirable solutions that strengthen product and value
- You will work collaboratively with the product and software development teams to shape feasible technical solutions
- Working with the wider marketing team, you will plan our advertising and promotional campaigns you will be delivering best in class results that deliver year on year customer growth
- You will work closely with the Head of Sales to develop appropriate content and campaigns that drive growth and profitability
- You will be an inspirational leader to your team and act as a role mode, mentoring and coaching team members to ensure they contribute high standards of work consistently
- You will define and develop relevant quantitative and qualitive KPIs that support the decisions making that optimizes long-term business performance
- Ensure through horizon scanning that emerging regulatory changes are understood, delivered across the business and reflected in propositions
- You will define differentiated solutions for our products and services focused on identifying key customer needs and identifying deliverable and quantifiable value outcomes
- You will provide clarity, simplicity and transparency to the positioning and communication of our core products and services to ensure successful customer engagement, lead generation and new business revenue
Required Knowledge & Qualifications:
Essential:
- You will have a degree in marketing, business administration or related
- You will have 5 years plus experience in working in a commercial product management background
- You have demonstrable knowledge and understanding of consumer and business product propositions ideally in a telecoms, energy, finance or similar background
- You have experience of creating and articulating customer centric value propositions
- You will have extensive expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data, to see beyond the numbers and understand how users interact with products, identify growth opportunities, and execute projects to drive growth and engagement
- This comes with a data driven and analytical approach to measuring product performance, prioritising work, across the product lifecycle
- You will have successfully delivered commercial product propositions & offers to support the hypergrowth stage of a busness's development
- You will have experience of driving successful client retention demand generation / product offers, working closely with key stakeholders in the wider business
- You have experience of leading cross divisional teams from product and marketing to define the core components of a strong and clearly articulated value proposition
- Excellent project, stakeholder management, communication and relationship building skills
- Strong customer focus with excellent understanding of customer and market requirements, and experience of linking these to product positioning and messaging
- You have demonstrable experience in building strong commercially sound product propositions.
- You have proven experience in commercial planning to support the development of long term business plans.
