Due to Continued growth, The Silver X Group are now recruiting an experienced **Service Assistant**

**Who are we looking for?**

We are looking for experienced drivers to help us achieve our goals. You will do this by having an amazing ‘can do’ attitude with a flair for customer service. You will always look for how you can achieve better standards across all areas helping us become not only the supplier of choice but also the employer of choice.

**What does a typical day include?**

You will effectively manage the tracking and communication of delivery updates to key stakeholders. Liaising with drivers, customers, suppliers, and internal departments such as Planning and Transport, providing administrative support to a high level. All while providing professional and consistent service levels to our clients. You will also;
- Be the 1st point of contact for all customer queries
- Proof of Delivery checking, scanning and distribution
- Daily monitoring and customer updates
- Co-ordinate social media including Facebook, twitter, Instagram & Linked In to increase follower base and improve follower engagement
- Ensure drivers paperwork is received and is filled in correctly, feedback to drivers where improvements could be made or pass on praise where necessary

**What do you need?**

You will need to have the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment with a flexible approach to your working hours. You must be comfortable with communicating to all levels covering multiple platforms with a strong team mentality.
- At least 2-3 years’ experience within a transport environment
- Highly IT Literate
- Have a passion for great customer service.
- Be able to work on your own initiative to consistently improve existing processes.
- A great problem solver, plan and prioritise effectively and multi-task on a daily basis
- Organised and accurate in your work.
