Inspire FM is a not-for-profit organisation with the aim of supporting and enhancing the development of local people. Our key focus involves engaging with the public through training, projects and events with dynamic and innovative production dedicated to delivering high-quality programming that informs, entertains, and engages our diverse audience. We are now looking for a talented and creative Marketing and Social Communications Executive to join our team and help us create compelling content for a Community award winning station.

**Measures of success**:
In the first few months, you would have:

- Built positive relationships and trust with presenters and the wider Inspire FM broadcast and content team.
- Worked on various shows across the station, maintaining a deep understanding of the culture to ensure each day is unique and engaging
- Delivered engaging content, show features, and interviews.
- Contributed creative ideas during planning sessions for key moments in Inspire FM calendar.
- Collaborated with presenters, as well as digital and programming teams, to research, prepare, edit, and broadcast in-studio interviews for both on-air and Social Media Channels.
- Developed a strong collaborative relationship with Inspire FM digital team, driving forward our digital content strategy, including our industry leading app, Social Media Channels.

**The Opportunity**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote products or services
- Analyse market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth
- Manage the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, adverts, and digital content
- Provide leadership and guidance to the marketing team
- Utilise tools like Excel, Google Ads, and Adobe for campaign tracking and reporting
- Oversee project management of marketing initiatives
- Ensure all communications align with brand guidelines
- Collaborate with internal teams to support overall business objectives
- Strategizing on and contributing to long-term marketing plans
- Liaising with sales, advertising, communication, PR or media teams on cross-departmental projects and campaigns
- Developing a brand’s voice and identity through marketing campaigns
- Writing, editing and publishing marketing adverts, articles and other written content
- Producing marketing videos for social media or advertising campaigns
- Monitoring key performance indicators to track the success of a marketing campaign
- Reporting results of marketing campaigns to management teams
- Identifying new demographics or regions for targeted marketing campaigns

**Requirements**:

- Strong marketing background with the ability to analyse market data
- Excellent project management skills
- Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication
- Leadership capabilities to guide a team effectively
- Familiarity with Google Ads and Adobe software for digital marketing purposes.
- Exceptional understanding of marketing media, arts and events.
- Outstanding creativity and innovation in marketing strategies and content creation.
- Good organisational skills.
- Existing network and connections within the media industry.
- Deep knowledge of new and traditional marketing and promotion strategies and methodologies; including: print, press releases, billboards, social media, street promotion.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Proficiency in digital media software and editing suites.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexible and adaptable working approach.
- Knowledge or experience in lighting, sound production, photography, or videography is highly desirable.
- Understanding of how to generate and analyse reports using software such as Google Analytics
- Ability to network with key players in media and at industry events and conferences

- Creative, lateral thinking towards storytelling for radio output and digital platforms.
- Experience working in a broadcast or content production environment with excellent team working skills.
- Experience using and entering data into systems.
- Ability to prioritise while working to tight or changing deadlines.
- Interested in and enthusiastic about life being lived through Islam, and how the voices of this community can be heard and their stories told.
- Strong communication, time management, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude with a deep passion for youth culture and entertainment.
