Bishopton out of School Care are looking for fun loving and motivated play workers to join our busy out of school care service. The hours of work are 7.45am - 9.00am and 2.30pm - 6.15pm (Monday to Friday Term Time) There will also be opportunity to work on a full-time basis throughout holiday periods, therefore someone who is flexible throughout holiday periods would be desirable. The role of Play worker is to supervise and support children in our before and aftercare setting. We are looking for confident and fun loving personalities to engage with our children through various play activities such as creative and imaginary play and physical play. Working as part of a team typical duties will include setting up the service to provide the children with a warm and welcoming environment with a range of activities for them to enjoy. With a variety of activities on offer to the children we would like you to support the children in engaging in activities of their choice, this will include supervising the play area appropriately to ensure the children are free from risk when in our service.

The role will also include escorting children to and from school to the service (various locations within Bishopton)

We require staff to be food hygiene trained ( training will be provided) In order to Prepare healthy breakfasts and afternoon snacks within the service.

As a member of staff you will be involved in the evaluation of our workplace environment and be required to complete child care plans, ensuring our children are receiving the best possible service we can give.
- The hourly rate for this position is £12.21 per **hour.**There is opportunity to Increase hourly rate once qualification is gained.
