Growing asbestos removal company under new management is looking for an Asbestos Removal Project Manager to oversee our busy removal team (capacity to expand to construction and demolition elements would also be ideal). This role would also suit someonewanting to expand into assisting with elements of Compliance and Health and Safety.

Fast paced environment with strict timescales and deadlines to work to.

Salary negotiable depending on experience. Range between £45k - £55k. Attractive bonus scheme available, company car.

Hours in excess of 48 per week are classed as overtime. Overtime must be authorised in advance by Line Manager and discussed. This Overtime is paid at time and a half.

The Employee’s annual holiday entitlement (inclusive of bank and public holidays) is 28 days. For every year, a holiday-loyalty bonus is also accrued (1 extra paid holiday day for each year of continuous employment capped at a maximum of 10.)

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Planning and pricing of asbestos removal or otherwise remedial work.
- Assist to ensure that all information systems are appropriately maintained so that colleagues have access to relevant and up to date information together with the Compliance Manager.
- Writing plans of work, specifications of work. Vetting and quality control checking others method statements and plans of work.
- Site and removal team management to ensure projects are delivered on time and in budget.
- Support the organisations requirement to Manage Asbestos for its clients and fulfilling its obligations alongside the rest of the project management team.
- Assist in managing Asbestos Contracts - ensuring delivery of services in a timely manner, maintaining contractor relationship and quality standards.
- Quality monitoring and auditing of removal works where necessary together with the Compliance Manager.
- Working with Blue A Subcontractors to price remedial work or reinstatement projects.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Senior asbestos role
- Prepared to commute to and from jobs in the South/East
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Valid UK driving licence (manual) with a minimum of 1 year driving experience and ability to travel

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Computer literacy in MS Office
- Experience with the use of Visio for drawings
- Commercially aware
- Excellent managerial and time management skills.

Ideally applicants will be local to Watford and North/West London.
