Job Title: Senior Administrator - NHS
Location: Leicester, LE9
**Salary**: £21,840
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join a company that specialises in Occupational Health with this role specifically supporting NHS requirements.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Supporting the Account Management department in all aspects of Administration duties as part of the Occupational Health service provided to clients.
- Co-ordination and management of appointments for the audiologists in accordance with AQP/non AQP contract requirements and SLA's.
- Efficient diary management and scheduling of NHS audiology resources and clinics alongside liaising with GP surgeries.
- Routine reviewing of attendance, referral and appointment levels to ensure appropriate level of clinics are planned to maximise efficiency of NHS operations.
- To manage all assigned administration staff with the support of the Clinical Lead.
- To have a full understanding of the department to include NHS AQP contracts, KPI requirements and patient pathway requirements.
- On a monthly basis, complete the invoicing database to submit through to the Finance department in line with contract requirement and SLA's.
- To produce monthly reports as required by AQP/non-AQP contract requirements.
- Service delivery, development, implementation and monitoring of efficient administration systems in accordance with IDC procedural requirements and in order to meet AQP/non-AQP Contract Requirements.
- To maintain the computer-based NHS contracts database as required entering new referrals, processing all patient outcomes in accordance with the AQP/non AQP contract requirements.
- Ensure the correct receipt, processing and storage of confidential medical information in accordance with IDC procedural and NHS IG requirements.
- Arrange meetings, booking venues, notifying participants.
- Attend and participate in monthly department meetings.
- Report any clinical incidents/accidents to the clinical lead/board of directors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; oral communication must be particularly clear.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a range of staff and patients with diverse needs and background.
- Good IT skills.
