Your newpany Not for Profit Organisation East Midlands Your new role Finance Manager – PermanentSalary: £45,000 to £52,000 + excellent benefits Location: LeicestershireHybrid Working We are seeking a fully qualified Finance Manager to lead our Finance Team and support the Senior Leadership Team.This is a key leadership role within our client's organisation, contributing to strategic direction, financial planning, and operational excellence.Role Purpose:Lead the Finance Team and functionSupport the Senior Leadership Team Contribute to strategic and corporate managementDeliver the Finance function within the Service Support DirectorateDrive efficiency and continuous improvement across the teamMain Duties:Budgeting & Financial PlanningAssist in preparing the Medium Term Financial Strategy, annual revenue budget, and capital programmeLead monitoring of capital, revenue, and project budgetsProduce financial reports for senior leadership andernancemitteesSupport Treasury and Capital Strategy developmentFinancial AccountingEnsure accurate and timely preparation of the annual Statement of AccountsMaintain the fixed asset register and ensurepliance with capital accounting regulationsManage treasury processes including cashflow and reconciliationsOversee supplier payments, sales invoicing, and payroll coordinationSupport pension scheme administration and contract loggingTeam LeadershipProvide leadership and development for finance staffEnsure business continuity and customer engagementMonitor performance and implement improvementsGeneral ResponsibilitiesAdvise on financial implications of policy and legislationUphold equality, diversity, health and safety standardsUndertake duties as directed by senior leadershipWhat you'll need to succeed Fully qualifiedProven experience managing a finance teamStrong understanding of Public Sector finance Essential to have worked in a Public Sector Organisation (NHS, Central or Localernment tec)Willing and able to work on-site hybridWhat you'll get in return If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
