Do you have policy development experience, and are you seeking a new part-time, remote role? Twenty84 is helping a trade association in the digital and crypto asset industry recruit a Policy & Public Affairs Director. This is a part time role, initially2 days per week, with payment monthly on a consultant day-rate basis at £750-950 per day. The job involves remote working and flexible hours.

As Policy & Public Affairs Director, you will address the following areas:

- Report to the Executive Director and wider executive board and collaborate with staff across the organisation
- Provide a strategic outlook and options on policy and regulatory issues
- Develop and advocate for policy positions on a broad range of issues related to the digital asset industry, including trading, custody, mining, privacy, decentralised finance, stablecoins, non-fungible tokens, etc
- Manage long-term educational, advocacy and policy initiatives, including management of outside counsel/consultant relationships.
- An understanding of UK financial regulation and relevant legal frameworks
- Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding attention to detail, project management, and organisational skills
- Working knowledge of the financial services, payments, or crypto industry, with a clear understanding of the issues involved.

In return for your knowledge and expertise, you will receive a favourable consultancy rate of £750-950 per day, and the prospect of increasing the number of hours worked as the organisation grows.
