Helper (Personal Assistant) of Older Adults

Well now you can, as a **_Good Life Sorted_** Helper. **_Good Life Sorted_** is an award-winning social enterprise company that connects older adults and their families with hand-picked, vetted individuals in their neighbourhood, who are called Helpers and provide a range of home help services for a fee. The Helpers are self-employed, which means they can pick the hours they work and set their rates. The process is simple. As a Helper you join our community, you create an online profile and you choose the services you are happy to offer. **_Good Life Sorted_** will then match you with older adults locally who need your help. Services our Helpers typically offer: - cleaning and laundry - home help - companionship - welfare checks - grocery shopping and medication pick up - transport and trips out - preparing meals - dog walking We believe that working as a Helper is more than a job. You're making someone's life better and you are strengthening your community. The role doesn't involve any personal care, however cleaning is an important part of a Helper's role, since older adults prefer to have one person to help them with anything they need around the house. We currently operate across Dorset, Hampshire and Sussex and are looking for amazing Helpers in Brighton, Hove, Lewes, Newhaven, Peacehaven and surrounding areas who have a driving license, enjoy interacting with older adults and are: - Compassionate and empathetic - Excellent communicators and can build rapport easily - Trustworthy, reliable and punctual - Confident in managing challenging situations - Flexible and able to show initiative - Good listeners - Comfortable using technology We are proud winners of the Disruptor of the Year Award at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2021.
