Cedar are supporting a Watford based client in the search for a talented Finance Systems Analyst.

The client is looking for someone with strong accounting skills combined with a systems mindset, who is keen to develop their career in the finance systems specialism.

The role combines responsibility for regular operational processes as well as the opportunity to support and/or lead on small to medium sized change projects.

Duties
- System administrator for the SAP system including:

- reviewing and approving access to SAP finance roles
- maintenance/creation of GL's or cost centres, creation of sort codes,
- maintenance & creation of new CAPEX/OPEX project structures for each financial year
- 1st line of support for queries from end users in the SAP system
- Ownership of segregation of duties in SAP, including SAP GRC reviews, work with finance to prepare mitigation reports for the Financial Controller
- Quarterly review of SAP access for all users with Finance roles
- Assist with regular review of the GRIR account and any associated clear down activity & analysis
- Develop and deliver training to finance users and recommend SAP standard reports to meet their team requirements
- Liaison between finance users and IT dev team, including writing of requirements for any system enhancements/new builds
- 1st line testing of newly implemented system enhancements
- Identifying opportunities to streamline finance processes

Skills and Expertise
- Part qualified or QBE accountant
- Advanced level user of a large ERP - ideally SAP
- Subject matter expertise in one or more system/process areas - either procure to pay, record to report, fixed assets
- Experience of OLAP/cube based reporting tools
- Experience of designing and/or delivering training
- Prior involvement in process and/or system improvement projects
- Ability to work under pressure

You will be expected to work from the office two days per week. This employer offers on site parking with easily accessible transport links.
