Crawley, West Sussex (Hybrid Working - 1 day a week in Office)

You will have broader experience as a Security Consultant with specialisation in Identity and Access Management, to join the highly talented Security team. You will help us to deliver effective day to day security operations, advise the business on information security matters and support our larger project teams in the secure delivery of larger technology programmes. You will report directly to the Head of Security and work with Architecture, IT operations and project teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring projects have appropriate Security controls in place.
- Managing findings from audits, vulnerability scans and penetration tests to ensure they are remediated or added to the risk register as appropriate.
- Assisting the Operational Security Team for any security breaches and investigations.
- Identifying risks in existing processes and systems, agreeing risk treatment plans with risk owners to implement mitigating controls.
- Keeping the risk register up-to-date, including tracking risk treatment plans through to completion.
- Writing and reviewing policies, process and procedures.
- Staying up to date with the latest security systems, tools, trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

- Able to demonstrate in depth IT skills with a working knowledge of a range of infrastructure, networking cloud technologies and security concepts.
- Experience of maintaining policies and procedures, drafting reports and preparing business cases.
- Familiarity in interpreting Security Legislation, for example GDPR, the Data Protection Act 1994, Computer Misuse Act 1990 and the Fraud Act 2006.
