**The Opportunity**
**Finance Officer - Growing Organisation - Varied Role - Temp to Perm**
Nigel Wright are partnering with a growing schools trust in their search for a Finance Officer to join them, starting on a temporary basis but with a view to go permanent after 3 months. Based on site, just outside of Newcastle upon Tyne, this role sits withina busy and hardworking Finance Team in their central office.
Duties will include:

- Debtors and Creditors management
- Managing the Finance inbox - query handing/liaising with suppliers
- Supplier statement/bank reconciliation
- Routing banking procedures
- Overseeing the ledgers for any discrepancies and investigating/solving
- Setting up new suppliers
- Contract management
- Procurement and administration responsibility

**About You**
This position is suited to a Finance Assistant with good knowledge of debtors and creditors and ledger management. You'll have a keen eye for detail, and be able to spot and resolve any discrepancies whilst liaising with suppliers.
- Experience of AP/AR process
- Experience of bank reconciliations
- Good query handling skills - enjoys liaising internally and externally to problem solve
- Happy to start in a temporary capacity, with a view to become permanent

**Other Details**:

- Starting Salary: £26,500
- Flexible working culture
- Holidays: 26 days + bank holidays
- Immediate start available but notice periods considered
- Working hours: 37 per week. Monday to Friday.
