33 hours per week (Days
- Spilt between Bury St Edmunds & Newmarket)
30 hours per week (Waking nights based at Bury St Edmunds)
£11.78 per hour

We are recruiting two part time Support Workers to support two fantastic young women in the Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket area. Both women need support that is person centred. When working within this team, you will be changing the style of support from 'caring for' to 'working with', it promotes independence and supports people to take an active part in their own lives.
The role
We're looking for a supportive staff member that understands learning disability, ASD, and mental health. A staff member that is kind and understanding and who can provide consistency, continuity, and predictability - to minimise anxiety.
Both women are highly active and enjoy activities such as swimming, bowling, going to the beach, out for coffee and lunch, shopping and watching pantomimes or circus performances.
A degree of personal care support will be involved such as prompting with bathing, supervision with brushing teeth and prompting to use the toilet. They also require support with meal preparation, food safety, assistance to visit medical appointments, arrange prescriptions, administering medication and assistance to ensure a balanced nutritious diet.
