**Role**: Hygiene Operative **Position**: Permanent **Working Hours**: Monday-Friday, 7 am until 3 pm **Salary**: £11.10p/h (£21,645 per annum)

**About the Role**:We are seeking a dedicated Hygiene Operative to join our team at a client based on the outskirts of Scarborough, specifically in Sherburn (YO17). As a Hygiene Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of both the Production Offices and Main Offices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform all site welfare facility cleaning and general site cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out damp dusting of furniture, fixtures, and furnishings, suction cleaning, wet mopping floors and stairwells, washing walls, and other vertical surfaces, and tiled surfaces.
- Clean and maintain kitchens and welfare areas, including defrosting refrigerators, cleaning inside units, and cupboards.
- Empty industrial bins around the site to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
- Regularly inspect and maintain cleaning equipment, reporting any faulty equipment or materials.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is cleaned, well-maintained, and stored correctly.

**Requirements**:

- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently with great attention to detail.
- Must possess a valid UK driving license and own a reliable vehicle for daily commuting.
