Assistant Workshop Control

**What you’ll do**
In this role you will be responsible for assisting our workshop controller maximising the workshop’s throughput, productivity and efficiency. Ensure there is a smooth flow of work with no bottle necks and time is managed effectively
You will need to be an experienced people manager with a passion for building excellent customer satisfaction whilst driving forward profitable business expansion.
Customer handling skills are incredibly important as there will be an element of dealing with the public in the event of any queries or questions or simply just an update on the status of their repair
**Who you are**
As a person, you are curious, creative, adaptable and enthusiastic. You will be results driven, but also possess a customer-centric mindset. Strong communication skills, and an empathetic instinct which allows you to understand the needs of people around you are a pre-requisite. You are full of energy, self-motivated and an all-rounder that makes things happen and have the ability to drive and motivate the team. A positive can do mindset and good problem solving skills are a must.
A full manual u.k driving license is essential
**Your experience**
To be successful in this role you will have a great eagerness to learn and being a team player is of upmost importance. You will have excellent time management skills and be able to work under your own initiative as well as being able to deputise for the workshop controller in their absence.
Experience in a busy workshop or production environment is important as is the ability to deal with our customers in an understanding and sympathetic manner.
Pay: £12.67-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 - 50 per week
