**About the Role**
The key focus of this role will be:

- Delivery of the SEO strategy across our main sites (Bristol Street Motors, Vertu Motors, Macklin Motors) and ancillary properties (including Vans Direct, Powerbulbs & The Taxi Centre)
- Monitoring and managing SEO performance, working towards ambitious visibility growth targets
- Maximising all SEO opportunities to achieve best in class results
- Reporting on SEO KPIs and business objectives

Main Tasks will include:

- Carrying out technical audits to ensure foundational and on-page best practice is maintained
- Building out the keywords which meet the customers journeys to ensure the users are served the right content for their needs
- Implement changes in our proprietary CMS with basic HTML skills
- Managing internal links and navigation
- Collaborate on the content strategy to maximise SEO opportunities
- Local search and Google My Business management (including Bing, Apple Maps and other services)
- Work with our agencies to manage and deliver successful outreach campaigns

**About You**
To be considered for this role we are looking for you to have:

- Hands on SEO experience
- Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with Product, PR, Content and Paid Marketing teams
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Experience in building out keyword research which match the buyer's journey
- Experience in working with external agencies
- Keen eye for detail and pro-active approach to problem solving

Beneficial skills and experience in the following toolsets are desired but not essential:

- SEMRush
- Screaming Frog
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
- Microsoft Excel
