Content Creator

**We’re looking for a wildly creative Content Creator (Videographer & Photographer) to join our small but mighty content marketing agency in Cheltenham.**

At Content Chef, we serve up delicious, creative content for brilliant brands - from steakhouses and global cocktail brands to tech companies and charities.

Our team is full of ideas, personality and snacks. Now, we need someone who lives and breathes social media content - someone just as comfy behind the camera as they are directing a client to “pretend that steak is your last meal on earth”.

This isn’t your average social media/videographer/photographer gig. You’ll be hands-on from concept to caption - shaping campaigns, shooting scroll-stopping content and working with a team that genuinely cares about the quality of the work (and what’s for lunch).

**Job details**:

- Role: Content Creator (Videographer & Photographer).
- Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
- Type: Full-time.
- Salary: DOE.
- Start date: ASAP.
- Must be able to work with us at our home office/co-working spaces and attend client shoots around Gloucestershire.
- Driving licence preferred.

**What you’ll be cooking up (responsibilities)**:

- Shooting and editing on-brand video and photo content for clients across social platforms - especially TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Bringing shoots to life, from lighting and sound to bossing talent direction.
- Working closely with the team to storyboard, plan and create campaign content.
- Editing everything to high-quality standards (short and long-form), complete with colour grading, graphics and a bit of wow.
- Writing social media captions and helping the owner with paid social ads.
- Helping shape content strategies that don’t just “look good”, but actually work.
- Creating strong social-first visuals, with an eye for detail, rhythm and storytelling.
- Archiving content, backing up files and not losing your memory card (again).
- Live and breathe video and photography (and probably edit in your sleep).
- Are fluent in Instagram Reels, TikTok trends and the kind of content that actually gets results, not just views.
- Know how to direct a shoot, wrangle a tripod and coach a client out of their “camera face”.
- Can shoot, edit and deliver clean, polished content without needing to be micro-managed.
- Can turn a loose idea into a storyboard and then bring it to life with your own creative flair.
- Stay on top of trends, sounds and transitions (without turning everything into a dance challenge).
- Genuinely care about your work, team and clients, and you are looking to grow, not coast.
- Like the idea of being part of a small but ambitious team where your voice matters and no two days are the same.
